25th Anniversary means big changes for Calgary Gojukai!

Calgary Gojukai is moving! After 25 years at Ranchlands Community Association, we are making some big changes.

First we are moving to Rocky Ridge Ranch community centre at 10709 Rocky Ridge Blvd NW. After so long at Ranchlands this move is certainly bittersweet. We certainly appreciate all the years that we were able to be a part of the Ranchlands community, and it's not easy to say goodbye to the community that started so many people along the karate path. But it is time to make a change, and I'm looking forward to all the opportunity that lies ahead in our new location.

With our new location, we also have new training days and times. Classes will be held on Wednesday and Friday evenings starting on September 1st. We will also have a chance to add another class to the evening. The class schedule will be:

6:00 - 6:50pm - Childrens class
7:00 - 7:50pm - Childrens class
8:00 - 9:30pm - Adults/senior class

Hopefully this more robust schedule will give everyone more opportunity to practice at a time that fits better with their schedules.

Finally, to anyone that we are unfortunately leaving behind, I apologize for the sudden change. I know there will be some of our members who are just not able to make it over to Rocky Ridge, and I am very sorry that you cannot join us. I hope another great program comes in to fill in the gap we've left there and that you will enjoy it even more than you did your classes.

Thank you for 25 fantastic years! I'm looking forward to the next 25 and all the challenges and triumphs that the future holds!
